Our Story

Born and raised in central Illinois, company founder John Schippert attended Illinois State University, where he earned his undergraduate and Master's degrees. In 1998 he married the love of his life, Kimberly. Together, they enjoy spending time with their four children and delight in quality time with their four grandchildren.

Leadership & Experience.

John has taught at Bloomington Jr. High and coached basketball in Bloomington-Normal for over 20 years. An opportunity also came to work with State Farm's Catastrophe Team over the past 15 years, which provided another income source for their growing family. It gave John valuable experience with storm damage, insurance claims, and quality workmanship. Seeing the poor work quality and homeowner frustrations was the inspiration for starting Redeemed Roofing.

Believing he had the experience and solid integrity to help homeowners facing disasters with quality services and minimal out-of-pocket expenses were the driving forces behind establishing Redeemed Roofing. John and his team have provided 5-star roof repair and replacement services to homeowners in Bloomington-Normal and the surrounding areas since 2017.

Our continued success depends on strong communication, quality workmanship, and integrity on every job site. We understand customer frustrations when roof damage causes internal damage, and we're here to help make the repair or replacement process as painless as possible to protect the lifetime investment in your home.

From the beginning, Redeemed Roofing committed to direct all profits from every 10th project — large or small — into our 10th Treasure Foundation. This foundation is our method of giving back to our community in various ways.

The 10th Treasure Foundation provides financial and labor-intensive support to area needs as they become known to us. Examples of giving include providing a new roof and siding for a local widow, funding cancer treatments not covered by insurance, providing a yearly college scholarship to a graduating senior, and supporting mission trips. We look forward to the future opportunities that God brings that will allow us to bless others through this foundation.
